Well hello there, let's get to know each other a little shall we? My name is Jesse Johnstone, I'm currently pursuing my BFA in New Media at the University of Lethbridge. Being part of this program has really expanded both my overall knowledge of design as well as my technical skill set when it comes to effective delivery of creative works. The part I appreciate most about new media is its intersection of art, culture and engineering. The blend of right brain creativity and left brain logic is the balance that just seems to work in harmony with the way I tick.

I'm mostly interested in design for web and print, but working with audio, video and photography puts a smile on my face as well. Oh I guess I shouldn't leave out Linux web and email servers as a love o'mine, too. See what I mean about the right brain/left brain thing? I've got quite a few interests and the world of new media brings it all together into one nice neat little pile.

Whatever the future of this field brings, I am willing and happy to be part of the ever changing/expanding/creative world of technology, the revolving trends of fashion and design as well the evolution of the way in which we utilize new and existing technologies.
