Flow hits the mark as a documentary film that acts as a thought and conversation starter for its audience. It clearly lays out the fact that we’re running out of fresh drinking water and uses fear about the future of humankind as a connecting theme throughout the film. It tells us to hate corporations (Coca-Cola, Nestle, Suez, Vivendi, etc.) because they package and resell water to us that we’ve already paid for, to not drink bottled water because it’s no cleaner than our tap water, and to protest, protest, protest! In this sense I felt that Flow was just repackaging info that I already knew and selling back to me…hmmm.
