The Archive, a seven minute documentary by Sean Dunne tells the story of Paul Mawhinney, the owner of the world’s largest collection. An astonishing 83% of the music he has in his collection that was recorded between 1948 and 1966 is no longer commercially available. That’s an unbelievably sad fact and a strong testimony to the true value of this collection.
