After carrying this around in my wallet for 4 months, I finally scanned it and really gave it a thought. It’s a sketch that one of my Profs, Aaron Taylor gave me as he explained his approach to creating art work – a concept outlined in the book, “The Mirror and The Lamp” by M.H. Abrams. Thinking about the work itself, the world (at present, past or future), the audience and the author and how they all relate and transcend through a creative artwork is what this is all about.
