I saw Iron Maiden live the other night(!!) I haven’t really listened to them for about 10 years, I went to the show mostly out of the sake of nostalgia. Now, I have to say that they have taken top spot on my ‘Best Concert Ever’ list. This number one position has changed many times over the years. It’s belonged to Radiohead, Feist and Elliot Smith in the past. No offense to the aforementioned talent but Iron Maiden was mind blowing on so many levels!! The musicianship, stagecraft, lighting, pyro, sound, etc. was all unbelievable – complete with a 25 ft. walking robot of Ed the Head!! (sorry about the crappy camera phone pics above)
